Christmas record is being mixed this week. i’m SO SO SO excited about it. Songs, you ask? here’s a few of the originals -
“A Highlander Christmas (There Can Only Be One Santa)”
“Everytime I think about you, I touch my elf” COME ON! I HAD TO! Boy am I gonna pay for that one.

“Satan is just Santa with a tan” - think about it. wait for it. wait for it. BOOM.
“Mistletoe Up” - The necessary Christmas country song.
and for what it’s worth - i CAN NOT, i repeat CAN NOT hear the song “winter wonderland” without hearing the parody “walking round in women’s underwear” EVERY TIME. and i laugh. EVERY TIME.
And yes, it’s been weird recording a Christmas song while 98 degrees is waiting outside. Nick Lachey was dying to sing on it and WOULD NOT leave.

Just got through reading Walter Wangerin’s “Tale of the Dun Cow” Bizarre and awesome. It’s like “Lord of the Rings” and “Animal Farm” had a son that hung out with the movie “Chicken Run” growing up. Yep. Odd. Awesome.
